FAIR RULES

For your safety, the following items are NOT permitted on the grounds during fair week:

Backpacks

A white exclamation mark centered inside a black outlined triangle, representing a warning or caution symbol.

Fireworks

A black warning sign with a white exclamation mark inside a triangle.

Lasers

A black triangle with a white border containing a white exclamation point, representing a warning symbol.

Drugs Or Alcohol

A black triangle with a white border and a white exclamation mark in the center.

Weapons Or Firearms

A white exclamation point inside a black triangle, serving as a caution or warning symbol.

Mopeds, Bicycles, Motorcycles, Roller Skates, or Skateboards

A black triangle with a white border containing a white exclamation point, serving as a standard hazard warning symbol.

Pets (except service animals and animals entered into competition) are NOT permitted on the fairgrounds.

Coolers are NOT allowed in grandstand or motor sporting events.

At the fair, you consent to possible inspection by security personnel. Anyone possessing prohibited items will be denied access to the fair and are subject to any other remedies available.


The LaPorte County Agricultural Association assumes no responsibility for misplaced or stolen items.

FAIR RULES

Admission & Entry Policies

All guests must present a valid ticket or pass at the gate upon arrival. Re-entry is permitted on the same day with a hand stamp or wristband. Please note that gates open at 6:00 PM for concert and grandstand events — check the full fair schedule for daily gate hours.

Season passes and single-day tickets are available at the gate or online at lpfair.com.

Liability & Legal Notice

By entering the La Porte County Fair, you consent to possible inspection by security personnel. Anyone found possessing prohibited items will be denied access to the fairgrounds and may be subject to any other remedies available.

Indiana Agritourism Notice — Required by Law

Under Indiana law, an agritourism provider is not liable for an injury to, or the death of, a participant in agritourism activities at this location if the death or injury results from the inherent risks of agritourism activity. Inherent risks of agritourism activities include risks of injury inherent to land,equipment, and animals as well as the potential for you to act in negligent manner that may contribute to your injury or death, or for other participants to act in a manner that may cause you injury or cause your death. You are assuming the risk of participating in this agritourism activity.
